Hi! I’m Emily, wife, dog mom, and the photographer behind Emily Camp Creative! I’m so happy you’re here and interested in learning about what I do and why I do it.

I’m based in Northeast Louisiana and specialize in bold, vibrant, and timeless photography that captures people just as they are. My heart is in creating real memories you’ll love looking back on for years to come, not chasing trends that will eventually fade.

I’ve always been drawn to creativity. I was in the Gifted Art program from elementary through high school and later earned a degree in Communications with a concentration in Digital Media. Photography wasn’t the plan at first, but when I interned for a local business and got handed a camera, everything changed. I quickly realized it was something I loved and something I truly believe God placed in my path.

When I’m not taking photos, you can usually find me editing with an iced latte at a coffee shop or curled up on the couch watching Gilmore Girls. I’ve been married to my amazing husband, John Ross, for two years, and we have a sweet English Cream golden retriever named Peaches.
